We are looking for an exceptional Director of Estates and Facilities to lead the development and creation of spaces and services that enhance the experience for the community that use them and enable the services that we deliver in pursuit of the Trust’s vision.

Our Director of Estates and Facilities will be a member of the Executive Committee and Team, holding full corporate responsibility for the management of our Trust’s Estates and Facilities. Reporting to the Deputy CEO and being accountable to the Board of Directors, the incumbent will develop an Estate’s strategy and be responsible for the delivery of the resulting operational plan. You will be the most senior responsible person for ensuring suitable and sufficient governance arrangements are embedded into the directorate and be responsible and accountable for the Trust’s capital programme and delivery of the estate’s projects.

As such, we are seeking someone who will demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional non-clinical services across SASH, be able to make effective and efficient use of sustainable resources to support our vision, whilst championing a safe working environment. The successful candidate will have significant senior management experience leading a large, complex organisation and a demonstrable track record of sound operational management. They will be comfortable engaging with key individuals at all levels of an organisation and possess the communication skills to influence and win trust through a values-driven approach.
