Healthcare Partners Ltd (HPL) is a subsidiary company of Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust (RSFT) providing facilities and managed services for clinical teams. This includes the provision and maintenance of all clinical equipment, including radiotherapy technical services; end-to-end procurement and supply chain functions for all consumables, implants, devices and capital equipment; and advanced maxillofacial laboratory services.

Since the company’s inception in 2018, HPL has been able to establish itself as an important partner to the Trust, bringing experience and expertise, working closely with clinical teams to deliver cost efficiencies and care transformation. We are now in the process of migrating Estates and Facilities support services and a number of substantial capital schemes to HPL. If the case is made and the change executed, this will be a major development for HPL. In recent years, HPL has also won external service contracts, both for NHS partners in Surrey Heartlands and beyond.

HPL is an ambitious organisation, committed to growth and further development of capabilities and services which help service users deliver improved outcomes for patients.

We are now seeking to appoint a Managing Director who will help us realise these ambitions, set the strategic direction and lead the company through the next phase of its evolution. As Managing Director of HPL you will be the company’s statutory accountable officer, and full voting member of the HPL Board. You will be responsible for business development and operational performance, including: service delivery, quality and transformation; cost improvement, financial performance and growth; and organisational culture.

We are seeking a candidate with the ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and service users within RSFT, Surrey Heartlands ICS, external customers, and a wide range of suppliers. You will develop innovative solutions and ensure effective communication across a complex political and stakeholder environment. You will evaluate, create and exploit opportunities within an evolving and challenging market, to grow a successful and sustainable support services business. You will lead a cohesive, high functioning team within HPL.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious, inspirational leader to have large-scale impact for the delivery of healthcare services. If you are keen to make a real difference and would like to help lead us on our exciting journey, then we would welcome your interest and application.

For an informal and confidential conversation about this exciting opportunity, please contact Brendan Davies at bdavies@hunter-healthcare.com or on 07585 356985.
