Non-Executive Directors (x2) – University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) is one of the largest and most complex NHS Trusts in the country, serving a population of over one million people across Derbyshire and Staffordshire. The Trust offers a wide range of services, including emergency care, maternity services, cancer treatment and specialist services, as well as being a research active Trust and a leading provider of healthcare education.

UHDB is now looking to appoint two new Non-Executive Directors to join the Board. We are seeking individuals who can contribute with integrity and independence of thought and offer strategic insight, respectful challenge and a spirit of collaboration. For the first Non-Executive Director, we are looking to appoint to the Chair of Audit and Assurance Committee therefore we are looking for candidates with a financial qualification and experience of working at Board level. For the second role, we are looking for an individual who has significant senior leadership experience in an organisation of comparable size and scale to UHDB. We are particularly interested in candidates with clinical expertise or those who have led on large-scale and complex digital transformation.
