One NHS Finance | Will Restall

One NHS Finance is a nationwide initiative designed to support and develop the NHS finance community. Over the past two years, Hunter Healthcare has proudly worked in partnership with One NHS Finance to build on and contribute to the fantastic work they are doing.

One NHS Finance ensures everyone working in NHS finance has access to the opportunities they need to develop their skills, excel in their roles and accelerate their careers. Our collaboration with One NHS Finance was driven by a desire to empower our candidates with resources which enable them to achieve their full potential and achieve their career goals.

To date, we’ve supported One NHS Finance’s regional (London, East of England, North-East & Yorkshire and South-East) and national networks by delivering workshops and panel discussions that provide candidates from Band 7 – 8D with practical tools, insight and access to people and resources around topics such as networking, interview skills and increasing self-awareness.

In addition to this, we have been invited to co-host a section of the One NHS Finance ‘Career Progressors’ programme. This is a programme designed by a former NHS finance executive, targeted at individuals at Band 7 – 8B level who are seeking assistance with securing a senior management position.

Through our work with One NHS Finance, Hunter Healthcare is enabled to proactively interact with and positively impact the development of talent within the NHS. Our engagement with the support programmes that One NHS Finance provides allows us to empower candidates who may need extra support in order to realise their career potential, whilst our wider network actively gives them access to live opportunities within the finance sector in the NHS.
