At Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust we bring acute and community care together for people across Kingston, Richmond and East Elmbridge. We run Kingston Hospital and Teddington Memorial Hospital and provide community care across Richmond. In Kingston, we work alongside our partner Your Healthcare.

Rated Outstanding by the CQC, we are known for award-winning cancer care, leading maternity services and community teams that keep people well at home. With a £500m budget, more than 4,700 colleagues and over 400 volunteers, we’re already moving care from hospital to community, from sickness to prevention and from analogue to digital. The challenge now is to reduce our deficit while keeping care outstanding.

We’re looking for a Chair to lead our Board through this next chapter. You’ll partner closely with our Chief Executive, offering support and challenge in equal measure. You’ll also be a leading voice in the South West London Integrated Care System, and you’ll make sure patients, staff and local communities are heard.

We’re open on professional background, but you’ll need recent board-level Non-Executive Director experience, plus a track record of chairing boards well. Above all, we want a commitment to excellent care, a record of improvement on a tight budget, and a leadership style that’s compassionate, inclusive, collaborative and inspiring.
