Chair of Council – Medical Protection Society (MPS)

MPS, the world’s leading member-owned, not-for-profit defence organisation for healthcare professionals, is recruiting a Chair of Council.

MPS exists purely to support its 350,000+ members across the globe, providing legal advice, representation and education when things go wrong and using its discretionary model to respond flexibly and fairly when members need help most.

The Council provides strategic oversight as the organisation continues its transformation under the New World Strategy.

We’re looking for a qualified doctor or dentist with board-level experience, strong governance credentials, and the credibility to lead Council and support the Chief Executive through this next phase, helping to shape an organisation trusted by hundreds of thousands of healthcare professionals worldwide.
