Homerton Healthcare is a forward-thinking, values-driven organisation serving one of the most diverse populations in London. Our environment is one of collaboration and innovation, where we play a central role within a highly advanced integrated care place-based system, requiring a leader with a clear mission to improve health outcomes and reduce inequalities.
As our Director of Digital, you will be a pivotal member of the Trust’s senior leadership community, sharing accountability for the delivery of our new strategy. Reporting directly to the Deputy CEO, you will lead our digital functions at a critical time, enhancing our use of technology and information to drive social change and healthcare excellence.
You will be responsible for developing best-in-class NHS digital functions, ensuring that our vision and direction are fully enabled by digital change, innovation, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and automation. Your role will be to ensure technology serves our people, driving long-term transformation across hospital and community settings. Your mandate will be to ensure our digital foundations are fit to support one of the NHS’s most sustainable, integrated health and care systems.
We take our culture seriously. You will model compassionate and inclusive leadership behaviours, creating the conditions for multi-disciplinary teams to thrive across organisational boundaries. You will use the power of influence and humility to engage stakeholders and maintain the trust and confidence of colleagues and partners alike.
We are looking for a leader with significant senior-level experience and a demonstrable track record of improving patient care through digital resources. You will bring a supportive, nurturing approach and possess an in-depth knowledge of NHS national and regional health policy, alongside the ability to manage complex large-scale technology programmes and budgets.
Importantly, you will be a champion for equity and social value, committed to delivering sustainable, customer-focused digital services that address the wider determinants of health for the communities we serve.
