Somerset NHS Foundation Trust (Somerset FT) is seeking passionate, experienced, and visionary Non-Executive Directors to join our Board. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and governance of one of the UK’s most innovative integrated care providers.

Somerset FT is uniquely positioned to deliver seamless, patient-centered health and care services across the county. We provide:

• Comprehensive community, mental health, and learning disability care.

• Acute healthcare at Yeovil District Hospital and Musgrove Park Hospital.

• Primary care through Symphony Healthcare Services, managing a quarter of Somerset’s GP practices.

Our breadth of services allows us to transcend traditional sector boundaries, integrate mental and physical health, and deliver care closer to home. Our focus is on reducing inequalities, strengthening community care, and improving the health and wellbeing of everyone in Somerset.

We are looking for three new NEDs to join our collaborative and open Board to help us review the Trust’s performance, set its strategic direction, and champion innovation in healthcare delivery.  We want NEDs who will bring fresh perspectives, challenge our thinking, and help drive our ambitious goals and we are particularly interested in individuals with expertise in:

• Clinical settings beyond acute hospitals.

• Research or higher education.

• The digital health ecosystem.
