Areej has experience across health policy and digital transformation, with a particular interest in AI-enabled healthcare, data-driven strategy and digital innovation. She holds an MSc in International Health Policy from LSE and has worked across Canadian and UK health systems, spanning AI and digital health research, economic evaluation, policy analysis, and NHS transformation. She is Epic-certified and currently supports the implementation of electronic patient records alongside her wider work. Her expertise brings together health policy, economics and technology, with a focus on how data and digital solutions can modernise health systems. Areej is excited to bring her multidisciplinary experience to the Digital Solutions team and contribute to its continued growth.
Outside of work, Areej is happiest outdoors, whether hiking, sailing, or exploring somewhere new. She also enjoys rowing and Pilates, and is currently on a mission to become a better cook, with mixed results so far!
