We’re looking for an exceptional Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities to help us continue being a leader in health and wellbeing, delivering exceptional services for our communities.

With close to 14,000 employees across all our sites, Frimley Health provides hospital and community services for over 900,000 people in Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and South Buckinghamshire. With three main hospitals – Frimley Park, Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals – each site is entirely unique in its age, design, build and management arrangement. With our continued improvements as well as our strong performance over the past few years, we proudly benchmark amongst the best trusts in the country. Like most, we have challenges with our infrastructure but have made significant investment in our estates to ensure we’re creating a safe, effective environment for our staff and users. We have a vision to do even more to meet the growing needs of our population and we’re now looking for a Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities who shares our ambition.

Our Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities will support the Director in providing strategic and operational leadership to our estates infrastructure and facilities services. You will play a key and visible role within the directorate’s senior management team to drive our ambitions forward. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering safe, responsive, and cost-effective estates and facilitates services for the Trust, with a clear focus on quality and customer service. You will also work closely with colleagues to identify and secure new business opportunities through national projects and collaboration with the private sector, local authority and NHS partners.

We therefore want an ambitious and emotionally-intelligent leader to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering spaces and services to achieve our strategic objectives. We are keen to bring in someone who consistently demonstrates a commitment to providing exceptional non-clinical services. You will be able to make effective and efficient use of sustainable resources to support our vision, whilst championing a safe working environment. How you lead the team and bring along with you on the journey will be of the utmost importance to us and you will need to demonstrate a clear commitment to our values and our purpose.

We are committed to ensuring that Frimley Health embraces and celebrates diversity as we strive to tackle inequalities both within the workforce and in our local communities. In recruiting to our Trust, we are committed to equality of opportunity for all, and we both encourage and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
