We have an extremely exciting opportunity to join our system as Chief Nurse & Allied Health Professional Officer. The Chief Nurse & AHP Officer role is a key member of our Board, providing clinical and strategic leadership in the development of Nursing and AHP standards across our health and care system.  The Chief Nurse & AHP Officer is accountable for all matters, statutory and non-statutory, relating to our nursing, midwifery and ahp workforce, responsible for safeguarding, quality improvement, control and assurance of the ICB.

Working closely with our Chief Medical Officer, they will provide strong and effective clinical leadership as a key member of our Executive team, ensuring that patient safety and the delivery of high-quality care remain central to our strategic direction and decision making. Our future Chief Nurse & AHP Officer will celebrate the richness of our workforce and populations, supporting us to develop and implement our ‘better health and wellbeing for all’ strategy.
