Your Role

As Chief People Officer, reporting directly to the Chief Executive and serving as a voting member of the Board, you’ll lead the development and implementation of a people strategy that delivers our People Promise and builds a compassionate, inclusive culture.You’ll drive efforts to:

• Attract, develop, and retain an agile, values-driven workforce.

• Lead cultural transformation through engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion.

• Deliver the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan at a local level.

• Shape workforce transformation through system-wide collaboration across Devon.

About You

You’ll be a forward-thinking, strategic leader who shares our values and passion for making a difference. You’ll bring:

• Experience working at or near board level in a complex organisation.

• Strong expertise in workforce transformation and organisational development.

• The ability to inspire, influence, and collaborate across organisational boundaries.

• A deep commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
