Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest trusts in the NHS, split across three main sites and multiple community sites. We have an ambition to be one of the best. As part of the government’s New Hospital Programme, Frimley is set to benefit from this once-in-a-generation programme to fundamentally build and transform a new state of the art Frimley Park Hospital and ensure we continue to provide care in a safe, reliable, and modern environment. By modernising our estate, the programme will support local healthcare in the future for the community, and improve healthcare quality for our population, creating a more sustainable healthcare environment. We are now seeking a Deputy Programme Director who shares our ambition.
Our Deputy Programme Director will play a crucial role within the project, supporting the Programme Director, running the Programme Management Office with focus on the implementation of the new model of care and the development of business cases. Working alongside the Programme Director to coordinate workstreams, manage interdependencies and ensure realisation of projected benefits. As the Deputy Programme Director, you will also support the management of the production of business cases to government, with other key stakeholders, all whilst maintaining momentum and reporting progress to the Programme Director as well as other members of the senior leadership team. You will also deputise for the Programme Director as and when required.
This is an incredible opportunity to be involved in this journey and aid in the progression of the NHP at Frimley. Ideally you will have demonstrable experience working at a senior strategic and management level within the NHS, a large research organisation, university or industry. You will have extensive experience taking a strategic and analytical approach to developing propositions that may be commercially attractive and have a demonstrable track record of managing projects and significant large scale project budgets.
We are committed to ensuring that Frimley embraces and celebrates diversity as we strive to tackle inequalities both within the workforce and in our local communities. In recruiting to our Trust, we are committed to equality of opportunity for all, and we both encourage and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
