The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a new Non-Executive Director (NED) to join our high-performing Board. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of healthcare delivery, with a specific focus on chairing our Charitable Funds Committee and providing strategic oversight of our award-winning charity.

We are a CQC-rated ‘Outstanding’ organisation serving over 400,000 people with district general hospital services, specialist cancer care for three million, and extensive adult community services. At Royal Surrey, we are proud to be part of a newly formed group model with Ashford and St Peter’s Hospitals, and a key player in the Surrey Heartlands Provider Collaborative. We are seeking a collaborative, curious and values-driven leader who can:

1. Offer independent scrutiny and insight to both our Board and charity team
2. Demonstrate a strong understanding of charity governance and impact
3. Bring senior-level experience from the charity sector, public service, or another complex environment
4. Champion our values: Caring Together, Continuously Improving, Learning Together, Excelling Together
