Do you want to shape the future of healthcare across Liverpool and beyond? We are seeking an exceptional Non-Executive Director, with significant finance and audit experience, to join the University Hospitals of Liverpool Group, bringing independent insight, strategic leadership, and a passion for improving lives.

This is a unique and strategic appointment to the NHS Liverpool University Hospitals Group Board of Directors, which includes Liverpool University Hospitals, Liverpool Women’s, and Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts. Through the collaborative work of the Liverpool Adult Acute and Specialist Providers (LAASP) Programme, these organisations are driving forward innovation, transformation, and world-class care for the communities they serve.

As a Board Member, you will play a vital role in shaping strategy, driving improvement, and ensuring robust governance. You will provide independent challenge and support to the executive team, champion equality and inclusion, and help create a compassionate culture that puts patients and staff at the centre of decision-making.

We are looking for finance-qualified individuals with proven board-level experience in complex organisations, strong leadership and collaboration expertise, excellent strategic finance skills and the ability to bring a fresh, independent perspective. Above all, you will share the values of the NHS and the commitment to outstanding healthcare for all.
