We have an extremely exciting opportunity to join Health Innovation South West as Portfolio Director. Health Innovation South West is one of 15 Health Innovation Networks set up by the NHS and we work in collaboration with our regional partners to adopt and spread health innovation that transforms lives, improves population health and drives economic growth.
Health Innovation South West covers a population of 2.2 million people living across our integrated health systems of Somerset, Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We work with our partners across these systems in health and care, academia, commercial and community to identify and develop innovative practices that are vital to research and improving lives.
The Portfolio Director role is a key leadership role within our organisation, leading portfolio design and delivery. Reporting to one of our Executive Directors, this crucial role will design and deliver a portfolio of projects and programmes focused on developing, testing and evaluating innovation in a real-world setting. Working closely with our Board, they will apply cutting-edge methodical approaches that will facilitate the spread of innovation across our systems. We are an impact led and solutions focused organisation and our future Portfolio Director will be adaptable, partnership led and live and breath our values in all they do.

You will bring a learning mindset and an excellent track record of successfully leading a portfolio of complex projects that have achieved impact.
