Nikie joined Hunter in 2025 as part of the Digitalization Consulting team, where she supports the implementation of the Epic Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. After completing training in Wisconsin, USA, she became Epic-certified in the Cadence and Spring-Board module, which she now applies to improving scheduling, appointment management and patient pathway at St Thomas’ and Guy’s Hospitals. She graduated with an MSci in Pharmacology in 2024, where her Master’s thesis involved coding in Python. That project not only delivered results but also pulled her into the world of tech. Alongside her academic research and lab work, she also gained professional experience as a medical writing intern, building strong skills in communication and analysis.
When she’s not knee-deep in healthcare systems, Nikie is probably in the gym. She’s a CrossFit and weightlifting competitor. And when she wants to do something completely different, she makes silver rings—because why not?
